Where Do You Fit In?

Hey guys, and welcome to my ninth entry. In this entry I will be talking about fitting in. I’m pretty sure that most of you, if not all, have felt out of place in society at some point. Everybody probably has asked themselves the question, where do I belong, or something remotely close to that.

First of all, don’t worry about where you belong. You shouldn’t care about how popular you are or what is the biggest gossip in your school. Just focus on yourself and those who actually care about you and you will be fine. I know this stuff is easier said than done, but a little determination will take you far in life.

In my school, there is no such thing as popularity. We have different people with different interests and personalities, but we all socialize with each other one way or another. I’m not saying I am best friends with everyone in my school, but I’m pretty sure I can identify every person who I will graduate with. I am even friends with people who aren’t in my grade level and a couple of teachers as well. Some of you may not be as friendly and outgoing as me (no offense), but if you just say hi to someone or even give them a smile, you could be on the road to a great friendship.

You should also try to be friends with someone who has some of the same interests as you, but not everything. Trust me when I say that you don’t want to be with a person who is just like you. So if you are outgoing, try being friendly with a shy person. Who knows, maybe that person will be a very good friend of yours in the future.

Anyways, don’t worry about cliques and popularity; true friendship will last a lifetime. Try to balance your social life with your professional and personal life. Also, enjoy life and have fun. Life is an adventure and you should explore it until your heart's content.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed the entry and tune in next week for my next one. Thank you to all my viewers, followers, and friends. I would have not made this blog if not for you. Have a good week everyone.

  1. I believe people shouldn't worry about how they fit and rather how they stand out ^_^

  2. I agree it shouldn't matter your popularity status, but how can you convince others to follow in this path. Once popularity steps into your life it's hard for people to let it go. Can I get some answers on that?

    1. Well, in my opinion it all depends on the person. I have no control over a persons action so they could do whatever it is that makes them happy. I'm just giving advice out there to those who want to make a difference.
