Hello Guys, and welcome to blog entry #14. Sorry for the delay so as a reward/apology to all my viewers and followers, I will be writing an extra-long entry. This entry is dedicated to the things that make us special and unique.
We are all different. Whether it comes from our appearance or personality, we all have something that makes us special. Some of us don’t embrace these unique qualities while others fully accept them. For example, I am said to eat like a squirrel. If I have a sandwich, I’ll grab it with both hands, put it close to my face, and take little nips of it until I finish. I don’t do it on purpose. To tell you the truth I don’t even realize I do it half the time until one of my friends points it out. Some of you might think this is funny and you can laugh all you want because I love that about me. I don’t care what people have to say about this little “flaw” I have. I will just laugh and continue eating my sandwich.
You guys might be thinking now well I have bigger flaws or That is not even that bad. Well that is the same thing I am going to say to you. No matter how imperfect you think you are or how enormous your flaws are, if you learn to embrace these things about you, no one will care about them. Whether you are quiet, loud, tall, short, fat or skinny, people will learn sooner or later to accept you for who you are. Even if you are Mr. or Mrs. Perfect, everyone around you will love you for you.
Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. If you are blunt, stay blunt. If you are silly, stay silly If you drive your friends crazy with your edgy jokes, continue being inappropriate. No one should judge or question you for being you. Your personality, whether it is being calm and collected or weird and different, makes you special. Your appearance, whether it is having a big beauty mark on your cheek or having an extra finger, makes you unique. There is only one you in the whole wide world. We don’t need another typical sassy cheerleader, flirty jock, or scary goth (no offence to all cheerleaders, jocks, and goths). We don’t need another stereotype student in the world. Maybe there can be a flirty goth or sassy jock. Perhaps the goth can be a cheerleader.
I don’t know how else to put it. Just be you and be different. Accept who you are because that’s the person your friends and family have come to love. Every flaw is a beauty, every mistake is a turning point, and every embarrassing moment is a perfect memory.
Hope you enjoyed my blog everybody. Tune in next week for blog #15. Have a fantastic week and appreciate who you are.
~Love, Kitkat~
I completely agree and thats what makes my best friend really awsome! She isn't afraid to be herself even though she does say weird things.
ReplyDeleteI agree wholeheartedly. I wish people won't put others down just because they have different tastes or cultures. If everyone realizes that no two people are the same, then the world would be a better place.
ReplyDeleteYou can say that again i Fully agree with everything your saying right know .I love that im not like everyone else and that makes me feel way better about myself. It makes me feel like theirs only one person in this world like me and it is me .
