Hey guys, and welcome to blog entry 17. I am going to talk about confidence and how people should see themselves. This is a little similar to my “Don’t Follow The Crowd” post so if you haven’t read that entry, please do.
I am a very confident person, but I know I’m not a super model. I have just as many flaws as the next person. People nowadays believe that they need to look like a celebrity to fit in. Guys want to have muscles and girls want to have a great figure. Teenagers will freak out if they get a pimple and will buy every and any cosmetic to try to get flawless skin. The also think they need designer clothes and the best jewelry. I am not trying to label all teens—but some of us act like this once in a while.
Some people also change their appearance and personality to fit in with their peers. A girl who is into jeans and sweats will change to skirts and leggings in order to fit in with the crowd. A guy who isn’t into sports will try out for the football team or basketball team in order to have some more friends. You shouldn’t change who you are and what you like in order to fit in. Have confidence in yourself and life won’t be as bad as you think.
The same goes for the people who have problems with their body and physical appearance. If you are overweight or underweight, then don’t let people pull you down. Get some help by seeing a doctor or physical therapist and make sure you are perfectly healthy. If you are a girl and your figure isn’t the best, it is perfectly fine. You will find someone who loves you for you, not for just your body. If you are a guy and you are not that tall or muscular, don’t torture yourself trying to buff yourself up. Exercise efficiently and be patient, some people blossom late. There are people out there who are looking for brains, not brawn.
If you think you are downright unattractive, then stop. Everyone is beautiful in his or her own way and everyone has potential. If you are feeling low, listen to some songs that will make you feel better, like “Fighter” by Christina Aguilera. The song means that no matter what happens, you will come out stronger in the end. You can also listen to “Born this Way,” by Lady Gaga. Basically, you are beautiful no matter who you are, who you like, and what you like.
So that is the end of my blog. I hope you liked it. Remember to keep your head held high and never look back. Stand tall and be brave. Don’t let anyone bring you down, because you are beautiful no matter what anybody says. Also, I suggest you watch a somewhat inspirational video by Shane Dawson known as Draw My Life. Bye, everybody.

Single
Hello everyone and welcome to my new blog entry. As some of you know, Valentine’s Day just passed and this special blog entry will be dedicated to those who are single as well as those who have a special someone.
Some teens hate Valentine’s Day. They see it is a pointless day where you give gifts, chocolate, flowers, etc. to your significant other. In my opinion, Valentine’s Day is a beautiful day. You get to spend time with the one you love and it is a day focused on you. I’m the type of person who loves love so my opinion is a little biased, but I do truly believe Valentine’s Day is not a bad day.
For those who are single and/or don’t have someone to spend Valentine’s Day with, you are completely wrong. Valentine’s Day is not just about being with your spouse/partner. You can spend it with family and friends. The day about love should be spent with those who love you the most and vice versa. My family and friends always get me a little something for Valentine’s Day and I do the same for them. Just because you're single doesn’t mean you don’t have time to spend with someone.
For those who are coupled up, congrats on you two getting together. Love is a great thing and I am glad people out there enjoy it. However, don’t let Valentine’s Day get you all whooped over. We should all remember that the day of love is to be spent with the one(s) you love—not get them all kinds of gifts. It is nice to get them some flowers or chocolates, but don’t go to the extreme. They love you for you— not your stuff.
Anyway, Valentine’s Day is a great day, but some people just see it as an excuse to get with someone or into someone. Remember it is the day of Love, not Lust. Don’t spend it with someone knowing that there would be no future between you two. Also, I would like to point out that Valentine’s Day is a day for all people, straight or gay. So if you are attracted to the same sex and you have a partner, don’t be afraid or embarrassed to do something special with them. There is nothing shameful about love.
So that is the end of my entry. I apologize for the random entry. If you want me to post anything please comment below. Thanks for viewing and I hope you have a good week. See you next time.

It Is Not Worth It.
Hey guys, and welcome to blog entry 15. Today’s blog entry will be a very important topic that has to do with all three of the BPJ (bullying, peer pressure, and judgement). Suicide is not something that should be taken lightly. It is a growing problem here in the world, especially within teens. With all the stress, work, and expectations it is hard for a person to stay composed. Others times suicide is a result of problems with relationships, such as those with family, friends, and significant others.
One reason for suicide is sexual orientation. People get bullied because of who they like and it is getting boring. A person should have every right to be attracted to whoever they want, whether it is a boy or a girl. Another reason for suicide is family issues such as a parent’s divorce or fighting in the family. You will learn to heal from your parent’s separation and your parents will learn to cope. Nothing lasts forever and soon these negative feelings will go away.
There are multiple reasons for suicide and these reasons can be fixed. Not everything in life is here and now. We need to look at the big things in life and consider about our future. Not to mention all your loved ones will miss you dearly. Even if you think no one in the world cares about your existence, trust me when I say a lot of people will be affected.
So if you have suicidal problems see a counselor or talk to a friend/family member. You have a purpose in the world and you barely lived life. Remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
And that is the end of this blog entry. I hoped you enjoyed it and please take what I have to say seriously. Have a nice week and I’ll see you next time with blog entry 16.

We are all Different
Hello Guys, and welcome to blog entry #14. Sorry for the delay so as a reward/apology to all my viewers and followers, I will be writing an extra-long entry. This entry is dedicated to the things that make us special and unique.
We are all different. Whether it comes from our appearance or personality, we all have something that makes us special. Some of us don’t embrace these unique qualities while others fully accept them. For example, I am said to eat like a squirrel. If I have a sandwich, I’ll grab it with both hands, put it close to my face, and take little nips of it until I finish. I don’t do it on purpose. To tell you the truth I don’t even realize I do it half the time until one of my friends points it out. Some of you might think this is funny and you can laugh all you want because I love that about me. I don’t care what people have to say about this little “flaw” I have. I will just laugh and continue eating my sandwich.
You guys might be thinking now well I have bigger flaws or That is not even that bad. Well that is the same thing I am going to say to you. No matter how imperfect you think you are or how enormous your flaws are, if you learn to embrace these things about you, no one will care about them. Whether you are quiet, loud, tall, short, fat or skinny, people will learn sooner or later to accept you for who you are. Even if you are Mr. or Mrs. Perfect, everyone around you will love you for you.
Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. If you are blunt, stay blunt. If you are silly, stay silly If you drive your friends crazy with your edgy jokes, continue being inappropriate. No one should judge or question you for being you. Your personality, whether it is being calm and collected or weird and different, makes you special. Your appearance, whether it is having a big beauty mark on your cheek or having an extra finger, makes you unique. There is only one you in the whole wide world. We don’t need another typical sassy cheerleader, flirty jock, or scary goth (no offence to all cheerleaders, jocks, and goths). We don’t need another stereotype student in the world. Maybe there can be a flirty goth or sassy jock. Perhaps the goth can be a cheerleader.
I don’t know how else to put it. Just be you and be different. Accept who you are because that’s the person your friends and family have come to love. Every flaw is a beauty, every mistake is a turning point, and every embarrassing moment is a perfect memory.
Hope you enjoyed my blog everybody. Tune in next week for blog #15. Have a fantastic week and appreciate who you are.

TV Shows
Hi everyone, and welcome again to my blog. This entry is going to be based on bullying again. Also this entry is for children who are quite young and easily persuaded.
I happened to realize recently that almost all of my childhood shows had a bully in it. In “Ed, Edd, & Eddy”, the three main characters were kind of shunned by the kids their age. “Rugrats” had Angelica as the antagonist. Even “Dora the Explorer” had a bully, who happened to be Swiper the Fox. What is the point of knowing this? some of you might be thinking. Well, the answer to that question is another question. Do TV shows with bullying teach kids to bully or show them how to avoid it ?
This may not make much sense so I’ll try my best to explain. As we all know, everybody is different. We all have different preferences. Our role models and inspirations are also different. So if a child likes the antagonist and is influenced by that character, the chances of the child repeating the actions of the antagonist is kind of high. Some of you might say that this sounds pretty stupid, but others may agree. Kids always are easily influenced by what is on TV. They may act like their favorite character, and in this case it may be the antagonist.
I’m not trying to say they should cancel all the shows. I’m just trying to get let you guys know that not every little kids’ show can be seen as innocent. Maybe if we limit the time a child watches TV or show them a show that has little to no antagonist’ like “The Wonder Pets” or “Blue’s Clues”. These show may sound childish, but they are great for young children.
I know this entry sounds a little weird, but I’m telling you my opinions. I hope you like it even if it is bizarre. Hope you have a good week and see you next time.

Handle Your Anger
Hello guys, and welcome to my twelfth blog entry. Today’s topic is going to be about anger and how to control it.
As we all know, anger is a pain, and dealing with it is stressful. Anger is also one of the many causes of bullying. If we focus on the reason why people pick on others and try to help them with their situation, there would be fewer bullies in school. The causes of a person’s anger can be anything. The important thing to learn is how to deal with it in yourself.
The first thing you should do is pause. Stop whatever it is you are doing and think for a second. Is whatever you are getting angry about worth it? It probably isn’t. Remember that there is a solution to every problem and that patience goes a long way. If the situation is big, just take a break from it. Maybe it is school or work. Just set up a day where your primary focus is to relax. Exercising can also help you, whether it is going to the gym or doing yoga. Maybe eating some healthy and refreshing food, such as apples and salad, can help you calm your temper.
If you handle your anger inappropriately, the results won’t be pretty. Uncontrolled anger can lead to drinking and drugs. As we all know, it can also lead to bullying. This is not bad to you, but also to those around you. Take my advice, if you or someone you know don’t know how to deal with their negative emotions, it is better to resolve it before it becomes too late. Whether that calls for doing what I suggested in the previous paragraph, going to a guidance counselor, or going online for help.
I hope you like this entry. Make sure to come next week for the 13th blog entry. Have a great week.

Gun Control
Hello guys, and welcome back to my blog. This entry is somewhat off topic but I hope you will still enjoy it anyway.
As most of you know, the shooting in Connecticut is a big topic. People are devastated and heartbroken. It is difficult to read, hear and write about a topic as overwhelming as this one. It seems that all of a sudden people are worried about gun control. I am not saying that they shouldn’t take precautions. However, did 20 little kids need to die in order for America to find out that not everyone can be trusted with firearms?
A gun is like superpowers―it takes a lot of responsibility to handle one. I believe that we should only let people who are cops, FBI, etc. have a gun. The background check for people who want to own a gun does not tell whether or not they feel like going on a killing spree in 5 years or 5 days. I understand that some people need a way of self-defense, but there are always martial arts, a pocket knife and/or mace. I’m not trying to encourage your decision to carry or learn something that can do harm to others, but if you are the type of person that feels the need to have extra protection, then do as you please.
Secondly, I would like to point out that this is not the first massacre that has happened in America. A lot more things similar to what happened in Connecticut happened in the past. Many of them happened in schools as well like colleges and high schools. The victims may not have been 6 years old but they were still young and had their whole life ahead of them. What made what happened in Connecticut any different than the shooting that happened at Virginia Tech?
If it is because of age difference then the reason is not sufficient. If America had done something in the past, none of this would have happened. Of course none of us would have suspected a tragedy like this to happen, and that is what people do not understand. The world is not full of happy, outgoing people who says greetings to their neighbor and go to church every Sunday. The world is filled with the majority of people not caring about whoever lives next to them unless something tragic happens.
We need to take action now so that something like this never happens again. We need laws and protection in order to be somewhat assured that a loved one will not be harmed anytime soon by a gun. I for one do not want to know that a person I care deeply about is murdered by a man-made weapon that was originally created to protect us. I think we all need to take that step out of our comfort zone to see that the world is not all about happiness and that if we don’t do something now, the same thing that happened in Connecticut will happen again.
I hope you are pleased with my blog entry. Pray for those who were affected by the shooting and may they be in a better place.
